The integration of nature throughout the compound represents a defining feature of the design concept. It provides a tranquil environment that contributes to the well-being of the residents. At ground level, a landscaped “floating” deck is organized as a communal space for the residents, where they have the possibility to enjoy spare time in a relaxing atmosphere. It is connected through a timber boardwalk that allows a fluent passageway from one end to the other, and complete with a traversing reflecting water surface on each side. As a form of recreating a natural environment and also as an arborescent protection from the traffic on Bartley Road, a tropical garden is implemented between the construction site and the main highway. Natural inspiration is also strikingly noticeable on the facade, where it is visibly in an earth-resembling color.

Gambir Ridge consists of 2 blocks of 5-storey residential flats, each with an attic and a private basement car park. The building encompasses a total of 77 units distributed in a variety of apartment configurations, ranging from 614 sq. ft. dwellings with one-bedroom and one study, to 1,938 sq. ft. four-bedroom with residences completed with a study penthouse. Carefully aligned on an east-west axis, all the apartments receive maximum sunlight. In addition, living spaces are equipped with generous transparent balconies that optimize the transition between the interior and the exterior natural environment. Intending to propose a change of scenery, from the busy lifestyle of the City Center to the laid back suburban area, Gambir Ridge is a development suited for persons of all ages and families.
