DESCRIPTION

Sky Habitat’s design is characterised by a dramatic stepping form, creating a three-dimensional matrix of homes, private terraces and public gardens. The design offers cross-ventilation and multiple exposures to every unit, allowing air to breeze through and sunlight to penetrate, as well as maximise the surrounding views.

A unique design concept of this development is the spacious terraced balconies that extend from the internal homes. Unlike usual apartments blocks with balconies, each stepping terrace at the Sky Habitat is open to the sky, allowing residents to fully enjoy the environment and view. Most of the units come with outdoor spaces for their private gardens in the sky. Plants and trees are provided the stepping terraces to encourage skyrise greenery within private units. Balconies swing in different directions on every floor to create higher outdoor volumes for sunlight and planting.

The project speaks of class and sophistication, but is made an even more invigorating place to live in with the lush green and open spaces. The Sky Habitat is set to have more than 65% of the ground level devoted to greenery, swimming pools and water features.

Sustainability is a key factor in the design concept and massing of Sky Habitat. This has led the project to achieve a Gold Plus rating in the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Award. The project has also attained the Universal Design Mark Gold Award conferred by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) as well as the Active, Beautiful and Clean Waters Certification certified by the Public Utilities Board (PUB).
