DESCRIPTION:Growing urbanisation in SEA has resulted in very dense urban constructions. Vicinity of existing buildings and underground infrastructure are real challenges to handle for developers and construction contractors. How can they cost effectively comply with stringent regulations demanding them to avoid damages to existing buildings and to reduce noise pollution and vibrations? \nGeotechnical conditions in SEA are among the toughest to handle for piling and foundation contractors. But the need to have taller buildings (for lack of enough floor space) and the redevelopment of urban space (constrained floorplates and regulators’ push towards removal and reuse of existing piles) has led them to look for innovative techniques to construct cost efficient and compact foundations. \nThe conference will bring together the major developers\, designers and contractors who are working on these exciting projects and will be an ideal opportunity for you to present your solutions for their upcoming piling and foundation projects.
