OneBuild & AseanMach Concluded with Success Despite Economic Slowdown
Taking place from 17 – 19 September 2015 at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, The Malaysia International Building, Construction & Infrastructure Technology Exhibition (OneBuild), and the 2nd edition of ASEAN Heavy Machinery & Equipment Exhibition (AseanMach) had marked another successful edition.
Since its first edition in 2012, OneBuild & AseanMach have gained the attention of the Malaysia’s construction and heavy machinery industry, becoming one of the most anticipating construction events in Malaysia. Forming by over 200 exhibiting booth from about 100 participating companies, OneBuild & AseanMach continued to attract hundreds of industry leaders and market players to showcase, interact with thousands of professional visitors who are keen on learning about the current and future trends as well as technologies within the local and international industry.
The exhibition has been consecutively endorsed by Public Works Department under Ministry of Works Malaysia, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM). The major organizations or associations involving in different fields of building, construction and infrastructure sectors such as Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) under Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia, Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (DID) under Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, American Concrete Institute Kuala Lumpur Chapter (ACI-KL), Building Materials Distributors Association of Malaysia (BMDAM), Malaysia Heavy Construction Equipment Owners’ Association (PAJPBM), just to name a few, had been giving their most support and collaboration to OneBuild & AseanMach 2015 so that industry stakeholders were well-connected to each other.
Wide variety of international products on showcase
This year, the exhibition had been themed “A New Blue Print for Malaysia’s Construction Industry” with the aim of providing a different perspective for stakeholders of the building, construction and infrastructure industry. Despite a decline in economic activities, the exhibitors were still giving their best confidence to the exhibition and bringing a very good variety of exhibits and technology showcases such as the world’s tallest telescopic boom lift and China’s leading brand in low carbon intelligence building formwork and scaffold to welcome the visitors.
The exhibition was officiated by YB Dato’ Lee Chee Leong, Deputy Minister of Ministry International Trade and Industry, follow by a series of well-designed networking activity, industrial talks and seminars. Visitors were also able to explore construction and equipment operation at the designated indoor and outdoor live demonstration area.
