RSP Celebrates 20 Years in China with Deeper Commitments Towards Designing for Humanity
RSP, a global multidisciplinary architectural and engineering design group headquartered in Singapore, celebrates 20 years of presence in China with deeper commitments towards designing for humanity by building its future in green. As one of the first homegrown companies to expand into China, RSP has completed over 500 projects across 40 cities in the country, a testament to the strong Singapore-China business synergy.
Commemorating the group’s milestone in China, Ms Shi Lu, Managing Director of RSP China, says, “When RSP entered China 20 years ago, we brought the ecological culture of Singapore’s Garden City roots to the local community and created countless green spaces that are both ecologically friendly and efficient for people to enjoy. 20 years later, we continue to insist on green and low-carbon, ecological and energy conservation.”
Marking the group’s significant milestone, RSP joined hands with Shanghai government agencies and the Singapore Green Construction Development Alliance to organise and host the Shanghai-Singapore Ecological Forum titled The Future of Urban Ecology at the Shanghai International Flower Show last week on 18 April 2024 held at Shanghai Westbund. Representatives from the National Parks Board of Singapore and Gardens by the Bay also took part in the forum aimed to showcase Singapore’s exemplary “City in Nature” model while facilitating meaningful cooperation between Singapore and Shanghai.
