Promising outlook for Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology 2015 with impressive exhibitor numbers
/in Events /by Editorial StaffThe 12th edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology will be held from 9 – 12 June at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. The four-day event is expected to host approximately 300 exhibitors in over 20,000 sqm of exhibition space. Highlighted at the 2015 show will be electrical engineering, as well as building and home automation, in an attempt to accommodate the growing needs of China’s building industry.
Recognised as Asia’s premier platform for electrical engineering and building and home automation technologies, the show continues to garner substantial confidence from leading industry players. New and returning exhibitors confirmed for 2015 include Berker (Germany), BOCHO (Switzerland), Control4 (the US), DOOYA (China), Echelon Technology (the US), EnOcean Alliance (the US), HDL (China), HEE (China), IISFREE(China), KNX Association (Belgium), Lite-Puter (Taiwan), Murata (Japan), Schneider Electric (France), T&J Electric (the UK), WAGO Electronic (Germany), Z-Wave Alliance (the US) and many others.
Furthermore, Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology will be held concurrently with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition and Wire & Cable Guangzhou. The three shows together serve as a comprehensive platform for demonstrating the latest electrical engineering, lighting, and building and home automation technologies and solutions.
A diverse range of visitors are anticipated to join such as energy service providers, power companies, system integrators, architects, designers, contractors and end-users. In 2014, Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology and the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition attracted 129,885 professional visitors from around the world.
Specialised fair supports China’s fast-growing building technologies market
China’s fast-growing new urbanisation construction is raising standards for building quality and building energy efficiency. Resultantly, there is a boost in the market demand for building electrical engineering and automation control technologies and products.
According to the China Academy of Telecommunication Research of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the total investment in smart cities in China will exceed RMB 1.6 trillion (USD 255 billion) by the 12th Five-Year Plan. The Intelligence Community and Smart Home are highlighted as two key areas of this development by the National Development and Reform Commission in “Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Smart City”.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd. The fair is a part of Messe Frankfurt’s building and energy shows, headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, Germany which will take place from 13 – 18 March 2016.
