GROHE Presented the Aqua Gallery at Milan Design Week 2025

Reading Time: 2 minutes

GROHE  returned to Milan Design Week 2025 with a new immersive experience in one of Milan’s most historic locations: The Garden Senato. Located at Via Senato 14 in Milan’s fashion district, the garden blends historical charm with contemporary design, making it a high-profile venue for cultural events and exhibitions – the ideal backdrop for the GROHE Aqua Gallery.

Following on from the brand’s previous success with the Red Dot “Best of the Best” awarded GROHE SPA installation at the Palazzo Reale during Milan Design Week 2024, GROHE transformed the Garden Senato into an immersive exhibition space from 8 to 13 April 2025.

Within carefully curated spaces, the GROHE Aqua Gallery showcased GROHE products as both efficient objects (Function) and crafted artifacts (Form) that deliver meaningful water experiences (Impact). Visitors can explore how these products create a bridge between humans, water, and the environment.

“At GROHE, we use design to transform trends and insights into experiences that enhance various facets of our lives. By delving deeply into people’s needs and wants, cultural nuances, and environmental contexts, we create and develop products that combine premium aesthetics, superior quality, advanced technologies and sustainability. Our showcase at Fuorisalone 2025 embodies this philosophy, offering visitors an immersive experience into how GROHE is shaping the future of water enjoyment.” said Antoine Besseyre des Horts, Leader, LIXIL Global Design, Asia.

Conceived by the in-house LIXIL Global Design and Brand Identity team, the installation seamlessly blended indoor and outdoor elements, offering a unique gallery experience. Featured for the first time in Milan was the recently launched GROHE Purefoam, with its proprietary technology that mixes the perfect balance of water and Kinuami soap to deliver a cocooning foam, creating a revolutionary vertical bath like experience, enveloping users in a unique and hydrating skincare sensation.

Another exciting highlight was the new GROHE Essence Crafted Lever. The award-winning GROHE Essence Collection is the brand’s most-specified faucet  in the affordable luxury segment, and it delivers harmonious proportions and sensual-minimalist transitions. The introduction of the new crafted lever variants and an array of colour options affords the Essence Collection greater freedom for customisation.

Nestled within the secluded garden the Aqua Atelier space encouraged guests to reflect and create their own Aqua Poem. More than just a place for refreshment, the adjacent Aqua Bar served as a powerful statement on sustainability: constructed from recycled bottles, it highlighted the environmental impact of single-use plastics and the growing issue of water pollution. As a brand dedicated to ecological water enjoyment, GROHE offers tangible solutions to tackle plastic pollution such as its advanced water filtration systems, reducing the need for disposable plastic bottles. By integrating thoughtful design with environmental responsibility, GROHE continues to shape a more sustainable future.

INAX Sets Out for Global Expansion at Milan Design Week

LIXIL Group Corporation (LIXIL), maker of pioneering water and housing products, has unveiled two new INAX bathroom collections for the global market at Milan Design Week 2019.

INAX, which manufactures innovative sanitary ware and artistic tiles, is known for its sophisticated and thoughtful designs and technology. Since it fired up its first kilns in the 1920s, the brand has been at the heart of shaping bathrooms in Japan, including the creation of revolutionary technologies such as Japan’s first shower toilet.

Now, for the first time, LIXIL will give the world a preview of INAX’s global brand and design concept as it unveils its new products before they enter production. The special exhibition invites visitors to experience first-hand the product designs reflecting INAX’s design values and signature elements, which convey Japanese aesthetics in a contemporary style.

These are represented in the new S600 LINE and S400 LINE bathroom collections, eight variations of INAX’s CERAFINE ultra-thin wash basins, which were inspired by Japan’s waterscapes and created specifically for the exhibition, a tile lounge that displays the variety of colors and textures of tiles, along with three inspirational brand movies showcased throughout the installation at the SuperStudio venue between 8 and 14 April 2019.

The event space offers an immersive introduction to the world of INAX, through a number of exhibits spanning the origins of the brand to its most recent concepts, including three short films, which present INAX’s unique approach to design, Japan’s Rituals of Water, and how it transforms everyday life.

“We wanted to create a new bathroom experience that embodies Japan and what it stands for; its culture, traditions, and the everyday rituals of water we go through to purify and transform ourselves. We are excited to now show the world the brand concept of INAX, the look and feel of its designs, and the technology within that enables people to live healthily and comfortably. We invite you to come see INAX at our exhibition in the heart of Milan,” said Yasuhiro Shirai, Japan Design Officer of LIXIL Water Technology.

LIXIL aims to launch the new INAX collections in Australia, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and other markets starting May 2019.
