The 5th Geo Connect Asia closed on 10th April in Singapore, registering a record attendance by leading Singapore and regional government agencies, enterprise decision-makers and global experts. Combined with the co-located Digital Construction Asia, Drones & Uncrewed Asia and Marine & Hydro Asia, the event registered 2930 attendees from 51 countries.

With more than 30 percent of the audience travelling into Singapore from neighbouring ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) member countries, the event looks to address the many challenges and opportunities presented by the regional interconnections and interests.

Building on the theme Transforming technology into solutions: underground, land & sea to sky, Geo Connect Asia also hosted 177 speakers across seven conference stages. With more than 50 percent the audience refreshing each year the vitality of the event is recorded by those attending for the first time:

Hoang Ngoc Lam, General Director, Department of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation of Viet Nam remarked “On behalf of the Vietnamese delegation, I am most grateful for the invitation to Geo Connect Asia. We truly appreciate your warm welcome and the open, insightful conversations you shared with us throughout the two-day event. Commenting on his contribution across several conference stages, Will Cavendish, Global Digital Lead of Arup, said, “Geo Connect Asia offered a great opportunity to understand first-hand the dynamics of the region’s markets and the many connections to Arup’s work, where our portfolio of activities harnesses the best of data, technology and AI to meet the challenges of growth, decarbonisation and climate change in the built environment. The event brings together stakeholders from leading government agencies and enterprise, plus a vibrant tech ecosystem, and is a great way of experiencing cutting edge innovation as well as meeting clients and making new contacts.”

Saiful Nizam Mustafa, Head of Geomatics, Petronas Carigali commented “As an Advisor to Geo Connect Asia I was delighted to share the interests of the energy sector in the development of a geomatics theme for the event. The successful co-hosting of the Geomatics CoP (ASEAN Chapter) Talk #6 Geomatics in CCS MMV at Geo Connect Asia enables our members to bridge the link with a new source of emerging technologies. We look forward to strengthening this connection at next year’s event.”

The successful conclusion of the show was hallmarked by the early commitment of more than 25 companies to the 2026 event, which takes place from 31 March to 1 April 2026 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. The 2026 event will herald the launch of Ocean Connect Asia, a regional platform for hydrography and autonomy in surface and subsea technology-based applications.
