Now in its sixth consecutive edition, BCT Expo 2026 was held under the theme “Empowering Net Zero in Construction & Mining”, and highlighted the industry’s transition toward a low-carbon future and supporting the development of more sustainable construction and mining practices in Thailand and across the region. The event took place from September 16 to 18, 2026 at Hall 7, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Thailand.
Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., said “BCT Expo 2026 was fully prepared to serve as a regional platform connecting industry professionals, technology providers, experts and decision-makers. This year, the exhibition brought together technologies and solutions from more than 150 leading brands worldwide, alongside in-depth conferences and professional training programmes. The exhibition is said to have welcomed more than 4,000 industry professionals, experts and decision- makers to exchange knowledge, develop business networks and explore new technologies and solutions that can support the construction and mining industries in achieving sustainable growth.”
“The exhibition comes at a time when Thailand’s construction sector continues to expand. According to Krungsri Research, Thailand’s construction investment grew by 6.1 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, reaching approximately THB 365 billion, while full-year growth is projected at around 2.5–2.7 percent, driven in part by major infrastructure projects. At the same time, the country’s Net Zero target for 2050 is expected to accelerate the transformation of industrial sectors. According to SCB EIC, carbon-intensive construction materials, particularly steel and cement, will face increasing pressure to adopt more environmentally responsible production processes and technologies,” he added.
Mr. Panotsan Suchayanon, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), highlighted the importance of sustainable resource management and the circular economy in supporting the transformation of the industrial sector. “DPIM places strong emphasis on the efficient and sustainable management of raw materials and mineral resources for the industrial sector. Advancing the circular economy can improve resource efficiency, reduce waste and help Thailand’s construction and mining industries respond more effectively to global environmental
challenges.”

For the first time, BCT Expo introduced a dedicated pavilion showcasing innovative lighting solutions for the built environment and construction sector. The pavilion featured technologies directly from leading manufacturers and technology developers in Zhejiang Province, China, providing Thai businesses with opportunities to connect and conduct direct business discussions with manufacturers.

In collaboration with the Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM) as a strategic partner, BCT Expo 2026 presented a dedicated exhibition showcasing practical models of the Circular Economy, alongside the “DPIM Circular Economy” conference programme. The programme explored approaches to maximising resource efficiency, reducing waste and minimizing environmental impacts across industrial operations.

Conference topics covered key issues including net zero construction, green guilding, digital construction, BIM and AI for engineering.

There were also opportunities to enhance professional knowledge through specialised training sessions led by experienced academics and industry experts, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanet Weerasiri, the Council of Engineers, the Chonburi Occupational Safety Officers Club, and the Association of Lifting, Crane and Heavy Machinery Engineering. Licensed professional engineers registered with the Council of Engineers could earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits upon completion of eligible training sessions.
